Calls For FG To Re-Consider Fielding Presidential Candidate

An Ireland South MEP believes its vital that Fine Gael reconsiders it’s decision not to field a Presidential candidate.

Sean Kelly says supporters feel “sidelined” after Sinn Fein decided to put forward a candidate in the next election.

There’s also a growing number of Independents declaring their interest in running, while Fianna Fail has confirmed its councillors will be able to support a candidate.
