Following on from their victory in the county final on Saturday, West Clare Gaels have been given a further boost.
The side were due to play the Munster Champions in the Munster Championship this weekend, but had been informed that will now NOT take place.

Instead, the Gaels have been advanced to the semi-finals of the intermediate championship, where they will meet Athea of Limerick on October 2nd.
Meanwhile, the Clare Intermediate Ladies Football Champions, Newmarket on Fergus will take on Eire Og of Cork in the Munster Championship this weekend.
The game will be held in Ballagran in Limerick at 2:30 on Saturday afternoon.
