Two Clare women are teeing off in the Irish Senior Women’s Open Strokeplay Championships today
Valerie Shannon of Lahinch Golf Club and Valerie Hassett of Ennis are among the 66-strong field for the event at Laytown & Bettystown Golf Club
They will play one qualifying round today and another tomorrow, and both will be aiming for a spot in the top 40 after 36 holes.
