Tubber Handler Says Any Brexit Horse Charges Will Affect Point To Pointers

A Tubber point to point handler believes any excess charges on Irish horses running in Britain could cause difficulties to smaller trainers in Clare and elsewhere.

There had been concerns that the likes of Willie Mullins, Gordon Elliott and others may have to pay as much as 19% of a horses value to run in the UK due to Brexit regulations.

However, it now appears that the issuing of temporary export documents for his horse should negate the need for such VAT charges to British Revenue.
