Former chairman Michael O'Neill was appointed the new coaching and games officer, while John Fawl was elected Clare's delegate to Central Council in the only vote of the night.

Among the motions approved to go to Congress were calls for a review of the Sky Sports GAA deal when the current three year deal expires, that two referees be appointed to officiate intercounty hurling matches, and that the defeated Munster and Leinster U21 Hurling Finalists be put into a Quarter Final Draw with Antrim and Galway.

Delegates also agreed that where possible, all finals at all grades should be played in Cusack Park, while the Cratloe motion that a charter be drawn up and presented to clubs to clarify the availability of inter-county players to their clubs was also passed.

It was also agreed to revamp the Bord na nÓg structures in the county, under the guidance of the coaching and games officer.

All motions relating to games were deferred to the January meeting of the board.
