Three Clare Hurling Legends To Be Honoured At Croke Park

Clare may have missed out on the All-Ireland Final, but three Claremen will be honoured at Croke Park this coming Sunday.

This year’s Jubilee team will represent the hurling heroes of the 1990s, an era which saw Clare win two All-Ireland titles, and other memorable moments including titles for Offaly and Wexford too.

To celebrate the era, a group of senior GAA Correspondents have selcted a Hurling Team of the 1990s, with three Clare players among them.

Brian Lohan of Wolfe Tones has been named at full-back, with Seanie McMahon of St. Joseph’s Doora-Barefield at centre-back, while his club-teammate Jamesie O’Connor is among the half-forwards.
