Clare’s ladies football boss says he’ll be using the lead in time before their National League campaign begins to trim his provisional squad by as much as 20 players.

The Banner will be reunited with last year’s Intermediate championship conquerors Meath, along with Kerry and Wexford, in Division 2A of a regionalised league format.

Games begin on May 23rd, with Evan Talty’s side possibly stretching out their campaign until the 27th of June should they reach the Division 2 final.
