Stradbally and Doonbeg gear up for Munster clash

Waterford senior football champions Stradbally  will be hoping it’s third time lucky against Clare opposition  this Sunday when they host Doonbeg in the Munster q-final in Fraher field.

The Deise men have previously lost a Munster final in 2004  and a q-final last year to former  Clare champions Kilmurray Ibrickane.

The Clare side are set to train for the final time this evening with the squad expected to be fully fit for Sunday’s encounter in Waterford.

Their opposition are boosted by the return of county senior hurler Michale "Brick "Walsh’s return to their fold having missed last years Munster defeat to Kilmurray Ibrickane.
