Sporting Claim Hugh Kelly Cup Crown

Sporting Ennistymon have caused an upset in the final of the Hugh Kelly Premier Division Cup.

They beat reigning League and Cup champions Newmarket Celtic 2-1 in a game that went to extra time.

Newmarket opened the scoring in the first half before Ennistymon struck for an equalizer.

The winner came in the the first added period with the North Clare side holding out to take the title for the first time.

Meanwhile the draw was also made for the semi finals of the Clare Cup.

Newmarket will face the winners of the only remaining quarter final between Kilrush Rangers & Coole FC.

The other last four tie sees Bridge United A taking on Lifford A
