Sparrow Makes One Change For Laois Clash

Ger O’Loughlin has made one change to the Clare team to take on Laois in the National league this Sunday.

Clonlara’s Nicky O’Connell steps out of the team in favour of James Mcinerny of Newmarket-on-Fergus.  McInerney will play at half back, with captain Brian O’Connell switching into midfield.

The team in full sees Philip Brennan of Tulla starting in goals.

Whitegate’s Brendan Bugler joins Crusheen duo Pat Vaughan and Cian Dillon in the full-back line, and McInerney will play alongside Clonlara’s Domhnall O’Donovan and Patrick Donnellan of O’Callaghans Mills in the half back line.

Brian O’Connell of the Wolfe Tones clip captains the side in midfield where he’s jonied by Jonathan Clancy of Clarecastle with Sean Collins of Cratloe, john Conlon of Clonlara and Fergal Lynch from clooney/Quin in the half-forwards.

Up front then Darach Honan of Clonlara, Mark Flaherty from Killanena and Martin ‘Ogie’ Murphy and Cratloe will start in the game which takes place in Portlaoise on Sunday.
