One of Galway United’s Clare recruits claims the experience gained in local soccer has allowed him make an impression at League of Ireland level.
Joe Collins joined the Tribesmen last January and, along with his county colleague Maurice Nugent, signed on again last week to stay with Galway in 2020.
The 25-year-old started his career with Ennis Town and won two Oscar Traynor Cups with Clare in 2016 and 2017.
