A number of GAA stars are set to be in Sixmilebridge later this morning for the launch of the 2011 Sixmilebridge Road Hurling championship
The event will be held on march 19th, and will see teams of three aim to complete a 4 mile course in the fewest shots possible.

It’s hoped that teams from all of the major hurling strongholds will take part in the event, while Brian Culbert of Sixmilebridge GAA club is also encouraging hurlers from across Clare to sign up.
