Shannon Jets Basketball Club has been awarded €5,000 in funding under the Texaco Support for Sport initiative.
The club was founded in 2014 and fields juvenile teams in a number of age groups.
It’s believed the club has earmarked the funding for new equipment, including an electronic scoreboard and agility training equipment.
