Senior And Intermediate Champions Clash in SHC Quarter Finals

Defending champions Sixmilebridge will face last year’s Intermediate champions Broadford in the standout tie of the Clare Senior Hurling Championship Quarter Finals.

The draw was made following a Clare County Board meeting last night.

The 2020 Clare Senior Hurling Championship quarter-finals will see The Bridge put their crown on the line against Intermediate champions Broadford who progressed over Clonlara in the last round.

The other ties Inagh Kilnamona take on O Callaghan’s Mills and Ballyea take on Kilmaley. Feakle await the winners of Cratloe’s postponed tie with Éire Og Ennis.

In the Senior B section, meanwhile, the losers of that game will meet Clonlara. Whitegate will do battle with Clarecastle, Wolfe Tones take on Newmarket On Fergus and last year’s winners at this grade, Clooney Quin, play Crusheen.

At Intermediate level, Bodyke face St Joseph’s, Sixmilebridge’s inters will Tubber and Smith O Briens can look forward to facing the eventual winners between Cratloe and Corofin. Scariff and Tulla round off the draw.
