The Clare senior footballers must face the All Ireland Qualifier series after a 1-10 to 9 point defeat to Waterford in Dungarvan last evening.
Clare led by 7 points to 6 at the break with David Tubridy notching 4 of Clare’s opening half scores before a Gary Hurney goal in the 43rd minutes turned the game in favour of the home side.

Clare were also reduced to 14 men 5 minutes from time when Declan Callinan received his second yellow card of the game for a trip.
A disappointing day in Dungarvan was compounded with the defeat of the Junior side by Waterford on a final scoreline of 13 points to 1-8.
