Cratloe have joined Newmaket on Fergus in the q-finals of the county senior hurling chamsionship this evening after a 1-14 to 1-13 win over Tubber in Cusack Park.

The South East clare side led at ahlf time by 1-8 to 1-6  and had to survive a strong performance from Tubber in the second half to hang onto the win.

Elsewhere today Inagh Kilnamona also secured their passage to the later stages of the championship with a 1-16 to 1-6 win over O Callaghans Mills in Cusack park.

 Kilmaley also secured a last 8 spot with  1-16 to 1-9 win over Smith O Briens.

Clarecastle are now facing a relegation play off however after they were defeated by Wolfe tones this afternoon by  5-11 to 2-10.

In football and Doonbeg will meet Kilmuray Ibrickane next weekend in the county senior football chamspionship semi finals after overcoming Cooraaclare this afternoon by 5 points to 4 in Quilty.
