Rory McEvoy Qualifies For Backstroke Final

Ennis’ Rory McEvoy has come has qualified for the final of the Men’s 50 metre Backstroke at the Irish Open Swimming Championship in the National Aquatic Centre.

He finished in a time of 26.39 seconds and will start the decider as second favourite behind Larne’s Conor Ferguson.

The final takes place in this evening’s session commencing at 5pm.
