A former Clare ladies footballer says the current Banner side come into their All Ireland semi final under little pressure at the weekend.

James Murrihy’s charges take on Meath on Saturday in the last four of the Intermediate series, with a Croke Park showdown with either Roscommon or Westmeath the prize on offer.

It’s been an eventful championship so far for Clare, as they advanced from the group stages despite losing their opening fixture to Kildare after a dramatic last round of fixtures.
