Places In 2017 Clare SFC Final Up For Grabs

Clondegad’s Gary Brennan says they’re determined to produce the performance needed to book a spot in a first ever Clare Senior Football Final.

The Ballynacally based contest their second semi final tie in the last three years when they face 2015 champions Miltown on Sunday afternoon.

It will be their fifth championship game having already come through two replays and Brennan is hopeful that will stand to them

Meanwhile Cratloe’s Cathal McInerney says they’re not treating this weekends Clare Senior Football Semi Final clash with Kilmurry Ibrickane as a revenge mission.

The Bricks stormed to the title in 2016 with a 2-13 to 0-6 win in their replayed County Final tie.

The south east Clare men are unbeaten so far this year as they bid for a third apperance in the decider in the last four seasons.

McInerney says last years final will have no bearing on the outcome

That one starts in Cusack Park on Saturday at 4pm while Clondegad and Miltown meet in Cooraclare on Sunday at 12.30pm.
