there was opening day wins for St joseph’s Doorabarefield,Shannon Gaels, Liscannor and Doonbeg today in the county senior football championship.
Shannon Gaels overcame Kilmihil by 2-10 to 2-9 having trailed with 12 minutes to go by 2-9 to 15 whiole Doorabarefield beat last years intermediate champions by 1-10 to 8 points.
Doonbeg overcame O Curry’s by 1-8 to 6 points while Liscannor accounted for Miltown by 1-9 to 9 points.
