Sixmilebridge boss John O’Meara feels the strength of their panel was crucial in booking a spot in the Clare Senior Hurling Final.
The Bridge shaded a thrilling battle against neighbours Newmarket in their last four tie, winning by 3-17 to 2-18.
It puts them into a fourth final in the last seven seasons, and within touching distance of a 13th title.
O’Meara says their ability to see out the game was vital
Their opponents in that final will be Clooney/Quin, who continued a fairytale year to qualify for a first final since 1944.
0-12 from county star Peter Duggan proved crucial as they overcame last years beaten finalist Clonlara by 0-16 to 0-14.
Duggan says they’ve been hugely focused all year
The final will be played on Sunday October 15th in Cusack Park
