Clare joint hurling manager Gerry O’Connor says this weekends league clash with Tipperary is another chance for players to impress ahead of the championship.
The league holders make the trip to Semple Stadium looking for their second win of the campaign, with the home side unbeaten so far in 2017.
The team for that game will be named tonight, with doubts remaining over Shane O’Donnell while David McInerney could return to the matchday squad.
