Clare’s joint hurling manager has emphasised the importance of a strong start to the Munster Campaign.
Gerry O’Connor’s side will take to Pairc Ui Chaoimh on Sunday afternoon to battle familiar rivals Cork in the first game of this year’s Munster Senior Hurling Championship.
It’s a repeat of last year’s Munster final which saw the rebels emerge victorious en route to the All Ireland Semi-Finals.
