The Banner’s camogie boss says new captain Clare Hehir was a ‘no brainer’ to take up the role for the 2021 campaign.

The Inagh-Kilnamona club woman will skipper the intercounty this year, replacing Newmarket-On-Fergus’ Laura McMahon after her two years in the role.

The 22-year-old has won four county titles with the West Clare side along with co-skippering the University of Limerick to the Ashbourne Cup.
