There’s been joy for NUIG in the Fitzgibbon Cup, as the Galway side has beaten St Patrick’s College to reach the semi-finals of the competition.
NUI Galway lead by three points at half-time, but they pulled away in the second half with a strong performance and ran out winners in a final score line of 1-24 to 1-12.
NUI Galway will now play either Davy Fitzgerald’s Limerick IT or UCD in the semi-final.
