Nolan Calls For LGFA And Camogie Merge To Ease Fixture Headaches

The Clare Ladies Football vice-captain is calling for the merging of the two main Ladies sports bodies.

Grainne Nolan is speaking ahead of a clash of fixtures for a number of the County’s dual sports women who must make a choice between lining out for the Ladies Football side in Doonbeg on Sunday afternoon or the Camogie side in Kilkenny at the same time.

Earlier this week, the management of both teams said they were untied in their frustration at a lack of communication between the Camogie Association and the Ladies Gaelic Football Association nationally to avoid those sort of issues which occur regularly around the country.
