The manager of Inagh-Kilnamona says he doesn’t believe the change in this year’s senior hurling championship format will affect how his team plays.

Inagh-Kilnamona take on Clooney-Quin this evening in the sides’ first championship action this season.

While some have said it demotes the first round of matches to glorified challenge matches, Fergal Hegarty says his team will approach this weekend like any other championship match.

At the same time in Sixmilebridge Clonlara will take on Newmarket on Fergus.
