Next Year’s Intermediate Hurling Championship Predicted To Be Intense

An intense battle is being predicted for next year’s Clare Intermediate Hurling Championship.

Scariff have left the Intermediate’s behind after they beat Tubber last weekend to claim the title.

It was Scariff’s first Intermediate Title in 38 years.

Speaking on Clare FM’s Sport Podcast Talking Balls, Clare GAA PRO Michael O’Connor says there will be fierce competition for the top spot next season.

While Scariff are now competing at senior level, Clare FM Hurling Analyst Tommy Guilfoyle feels that they’re more than up for the challenge.

Also speaking on Talking Balls, he says Mark McKenna’s side have a lot of young talent coming up through the ranks.
