Broadford’s under 21 hurling final top scorer claims they believed they had what it took to become county champions.
Their 1-16 to 1-12 win over Newmarket-on-Fergus in the B final was the club’s first in 14 years and sets their players up for intermediate and junior action this year.
After recent disappointments including seeing victory snatched in the drawn fixture, Broadford got over the line.
