Newmarket Celtic To Challenge Loss Of Quarter Finals Home Advantage

The Manager of Newmarket Celtic says they intend to appeal the decision to deny them home advantage for their Quarter Final replay.

Liam Murphy’s side were due to face St Michael’s of Tipperary in the Munster Junior Cup Quarter Finals in Newmarket-on-Fergus yesterday, but cancelled the fixture on Saturday on safety grounds following heavy snowfalls.

The Munster FA has told Newmarket Celtic that as a result of cancelling the fixture, they will lose home advantage.
