Clare’s new ladies football captain says the thought of leading her side out at Croke Park is keeping her motivated during lockdown.
West Clare Gaels club woman Caoimhe Harvey has been handed the skipper’s role by new boss Evan Talty, replacing Kilmihil’s Ellie O Gorman who becomes vice captain.
The intercounty side has made no secret of the fact that an All Ireland Intermediate title is the target for 2021, following last year’s campaign which saw them bow out to eventual winners Meath in the last four.
