Neenan Hits Back At O’Gorman Cup Criticism

The organiser of Clare Football’s O’Gorman Cup has moved to defend it’s reputation.

It’s after Kilmurry Ibrickane manager Aidan Moloney used the O’Gorman Cup as an example of a ‘meaningless’ competition when discussing problems with the Cusack Cup.

The O’Gorman Cup, named for former Clare GAA President and Doonbeg man John O’Gorman, who died in 2005, has been running since 2006.
