Nash: Previous Final Provided Important Learning Curve Ahead Of All Ireland Win

One of Clare’s new All Ireland Handball Champions says experience helped him en route to victory.

Diarmuid Nash and his team-mate Colin Crehan took victory in the All-Ireland doubles final yesterday, beating defending Champions Paul Brady and Michael Finegan of Cavan.

The final was a repeat of last year’s final, which Nash and Crehan were defeated in.

Elsewhere, Tiernan Agnew and Mark Rodgers brought home the All Ireland title in the minor boys competiton, while Catriona Millane and Birdin Dinan narrowly missed out in the minor girls title.

Fergal Coughlan and Tom Kirby will contest the masters decider today.
