Clare’s Senior Footballers have taken the narrowest of defeats to Laois in Cusack Park this afternoon.
Colm Collins side were left with it all to do in the second half as they trailed 1-8 to 0-4 at half time.
Remarkably, they managed to reduce the gap – helped by a 65th minute David Tubridy penalty – but time was against them and the whistle blew before an equaliser could be found.
