Munster boss Johaan Van Graan hopes Conor Murray will see some on-field action before the Six Nations recommences.
The scrum half sustained a thigh injury in the PRO14 semi final defeat to Leinster three weeks ago.
Munster play Scarlets on Saturday afternoon in their season opener in Wales.
Kick off is at 3pm.
Van Graan says while Murray won’t be passed fit for that game, he may take to the field before Ireland’s clash with Italy later this month.
