Newmarket Celtic boss Liam Murphy is urging his players to enjoy the occasion when they take to the field tomorrow evening for the opening round of the FAI Senior Cup.

The Clare League champions host League of Ireland Division One side Cabinteely at Frank Healy Park in Doora as they become the first side from the Banner to play in the competition.

They will be without some of their key men though with the likes of Colin Ryan, Eoin O’Brien and Stephen Kelly likely to miss out through club hurling commitments and injury.
