One of the longest serving members of Clare’s senior camogie panel says she won’t be taking her place for granted as they prepare to take to the grass again next week.

Ger O Connell’s side, along with all other senior intercounty teams, are permitted to return to team training from Monday, with Clare’s League campaign to get underway against 2020 All Ireland finalists Galway less than four weeks later.

They’ll follow that up by welcoming Limerick to Clare the following week, with quarter finals or relegation playoffs to be played in June as required.

Sixmilebridge’s Chloe Morey, who’s preparing for her 13th season as part of the panel, says 2021 will be a clean slate for the entire squad.

Club Clare are continuing to look for donations to the cause and have raised almost €100,000 to date. More information on the initiative can be found here.
