Clare’s joint hurling manager admits they should have done more with the wind in the first half as their National League campaign came to an end.

Waterford were 0-31 to 1-14 winners in Walsh Park in the quarter-final, hitting 20 second half scores after trailing by just two at half-time.

Clare finished the game with 13 men as Conor Cleary and Peter Duggan were dismissed on a frustrating afternoon.
