Munster Director Rassie Erasmus has confirmed that Niall Scannell could miss the next 6 to 8 weeks.
The Irish international hooker has a thumb injury and underwent surgery today.
Following last Saturday’s dramatic win over Racing 92 in the Champions cup it’s back to the Pro 14 and a clash with Connacht this Friday night in Galway.
