The Underage Hurling and Football Boards have reversed their plans to NOT hold minor competitions this year.
It had been planned for Under-17 competitions to be held instead, but this has been reversed following some concerns about the plan.
The Under-14 Football Championship will now start on Monday fortnight, July 20th, with the Minor Football competition beginning two days later.
