The star forward of the county champion St. Joseph’s Miltown side has pin-pointed the closing stages of the first half as being key in their victory in Sunday’s county final.

St. Joseph’s had six points to spare over Ennistymon, winning in a final scoreline of 0-14 to 0-8, but the game was very tight for the opening twenty minutes until two late scores had given them a 0-6 to 0-4 lead at the break.

Eoin Cleary was man of the match on Sunday, as well as being the top overall scorer in this year’s county championship.
