The Meath Footballers will begin the search for a new manager after Eamon O’Brien was axed last night – the Royals won their first Leinster Championship in 9 years but the win over Louth was controversial.
O’Brien was expected to stay on but club delegates voted 32-29 against the idea in a ballot last night.
Meath legend Colm O’Rourke is already an early front runner to take over.
