Clare’s Johnathan McGrath begins his bid for silverware this morning at the World Para Swimming Allianz European Championships in Dublin.
The Killaloe native goes in the heats for the Mens 100 metre and 50 metre freestyle events.
He will also be in action later this week in the 100 metre and 50 metre backstoke.

McGrath is part of an eight strong Irish contingent for the games which is the first major International Para sporting event to be hosted in Ireland.
