McEnaney ratified as Meath manager

 

Seamus McEnaney has been ratified as the new manager of the Meath senior footballers.

The former Monaghan boss and his backroom team of Liam Harnan, Paul Grimley and Martin McElkennon have been handed a three-year term with a review after two years.

It’s the first time that the Royal County have appointed an outsider to take charge of their footballers, but McEnaney’s appointment was eventually passed by 53 votes to 19.
