Ireland’s James McCarthy may yet feature in Friday’s World cup qualifier with Wales at the Aviva.
Reporters in attendance had been told he would not train with the squad however he did take part in the session.
The Everton midfielder hasn’t played since March 5th due a hamsring injury.
