Mc dermott set for busy week while KIB set to appeal Callinan Suspension.

Following on from Clare’s second win of the year in the national league Clare manager Michael Mc Dermott must now turn his attention to matters local as he returns to club duty with Kilmurray Ibrickane this week.

The Cavan native oversaw a comfortable victory for the Banner against Kilkenny yesterday to move Clare top of Division 4 ahead of their week off from inter county action.

Kilmurray Ibrickane are out this Sunday against Portlaoise in the Gaelic Grounds in the All Irleand semi final and Mc Dermott  has a busy week ahead:

Elsewhere and the West Clare club have until this evening to appeal the 4 week suspension handed down to Declan Callinan which rules him out of this Sundays All Ireland semi final for an incident in their win over Tir Chonaill Gaels last month.

The wing back was handed down the  ban for an off ball incident with Kevin Downes despite not being booked during the game.
