Mayo And Dublin Braced For All Ireland SFC Final Showdown

It’s All-Ireland football final day as Dublin and Mayo battle it out to be crowned champions for 2017.

For Dublin it’s an opportunity to win their first three-in-a-row since the 1920s and the 27th title in their history.

As for Mayo they have three Championship crowns under their belt, and haven’t brought home the Sam Maguire Cup since 1951.

Since they have suffered well-publicised heartache in the finals, failing to win any of their last 10 appearances.

Both sides are unchanged from their respective semi-finals, but there could yet be changes closer to throw-in.

Throw-in at Croke Park is at 3.30, with the minor final between Kerry and Derry preceeding it at 1.15.
