Lohan Happy With Clare’s Work Rate Over The Year

Clare’s Senior Hurling Manager says he’s pleased with the work his team has put in over a difficult year.

The Banner bowed out of the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship Quarter-Finals yesterday to Waterford after a tough fought battle.

Despite Clare keeping pace for much of the match, the Déise carried a three point lead into the second half that they wouldn’t lose, and extended it to win the game 3-27 to 3-18.

Clare Boss Brian Lohan says his team worked hard and fought well, but they have to accept defeat.
