Lohan Doesn’t Think Clare Hurlers Will Be Using Centre Of Excellence Next Year

Clare’s senior hurling manager says he doesn’t think the side will be using the facilities at Caherlohan throughout the next year.

Brian Lohan’s side instead opted to train on various club pitches across the county in 2020, believing the centre of excellence not to be up to the standard required.

Clare GAA figures suggest nearly €5 million had been spent on the facility as of November 2019, with the county board hopeful for an all-weather pitch there to be given the green light in the coming months.
