Limerick win Intermediate and Senior Hurling Quarter-finals

Clare and Limerick met in the Senior Munster Hurling Quarter-Final at Semple Stadium. 

Limerick went into half-time leading by a point on a score of 9 points to 8.  Following a melee at the stroke of half-time, Pat Donnellan got a red card for striking out at Donal O’Grady.

Clare went into the second half with 14 men.

In the second half, Limerick went on to win by just a point. The final score there Limerick 1-19 and Clare 2-15

Earlier both teams also played the Intermediate Munster Hurling Quarter-Final.  Clare led at half-time by 1 goal and 8 points to 9 points. 

However, things didn’t go Clare’s way in the second half with Limerick shading it by 2 points on a final score of Limerick 3-14 and Clare 2-15.
